David Robinson and Anna Toombs are the founders of Barefoot Running UK, a company created to help clients get the most out of their running practice.
Anna and David are both fully qualified, experienced trainers and have always encouraged their clients to exercise barefoot to improve balance and overall body movement as well as strengthening the feet. They personally choose to run completely barefoot but the idea behind Barefoot Running UK is merely to help runners find more enjoyment from their running through improved movement and technique.
In 2012, David and Anna co-authored Run Strong • Run Free: An introduction to the science and art of barefoot running and also co-own Barefoot Running Magazine, now in its fifth year of publication.
They will support you if you want to take the plunge and run entirely without shoes but their primary goal is to help you develop and sustain your running practice.
